Our wool is cleaned and carded at a regional certified organic woolen mill in Southern Minnesota that specializes in natural process cleaning. They have been in the business of cleaning and carding raw wool for over 150 years. Their talented artisans sew our comforters and mattress toppers using certified organic cotton and thread.
We highly recommend that you use a fair-trade organic cotton duvet to protect your comforter from everyday wear. Spot clean any stains with a vinegar and baking soda mixture that will help lift the stain. Blot dry, allow to air dry and repeat. For annual refreshing of your comforter, we recommend hanging your comforter in the sun for a few hours.
Our loft comes in light, regular and heavy. Light is recommended for summer months or if your body temperature runs hot most of the time. Regular loft is an all-season comforter and is most versatile with the seasons. Heavy loft is recommended if you like to sleep in cooler temperature rooms or the outdoors. It is a popular choice for those who enjoy camping.
